This health disorder is classified into two types, type 1 and type 2. The former is the condition where the body produces little or no insulin at all. This insulin is a hormone that is needed to be able to effectively convert food into energy. The type 2 form of diabetes on the other hand is where is the body is resistant to insulin it produces.
